CSM Publishing wrapped up their first writing workshop entitled Radiate: Young Writers Workshop that took place on two consecutive Saturdays—November 4 and 11, 2017 at the CSM Building in Parañaque City. Six-time Palanca awardee and CSM author Ms. Grace D. Chong led and taught twenty-two aspiring writers on the basics of creative writing.
Workshop Trainer Ms. Grace D. Chong willingly shared her journey as a writer and author, facilitated creative writing exercises, and had participants read aloud their writings on Day 1.
Participants came back the following Saturday with their writing assignments and ready hearts. Each writing assignment was read and critiqued by the CSM Editorial Team and Ms. Grace D. Chong herself on Day 2.The Editorial Team answered questions from the participants on publishing their own books in the future before awarding their certificates by the end of the workshop.
CSM Publishing looks forward to seeing these young writers speak to their generation through the printed word. May God’s love radiate through these young writers’ life stories!
