Discipleship for Children New Focus in Sunday School Training

Post by: admin - October 25, 2017

Children are an important part of God’s Kingdom but often taken lightly by the church just because they’re small and young. There’s urgency for churches to start intentionally discipling children before the world does. To help church ministry workers fulfill this mission, CSM introduces its new curriculum, DiscipleKids: Training the Next Generation to Follow Jesus. CSM focuses on discipleship for children in the next Sunday school training season featuring Disciple Kids.

Thirteen (13) trainers were equipped to conduct DiscipleKids seminars in the master training held at the CSM building in Parañaque last October 21, 2017. Guest trainers at this training were: CSM Assistant Editorial Manager and writer of DiscipleKids, Daffodil Dedel (overview); CSM trainers Raquel Lomugdang (making Sunday school exciting through arts & crafts), Jennifer Macaranas (role of songs and games in child learning), and Millie Espino (creative ways to tell Bible stories).

The Sunday school teachers’ seminar season featuring DiscipleKids starts on November 18, 2017 until early January 2018 at the CSM building in Parañaque and other venues to be announced. Visit our Facebook page or website (www.csm-publishing.com) for more information on training dates and venues, or call the CSM training department at 852-7301 to 04 local 110. CSM’s partners for this training season are Philippine Christian Bookstore (PCBS) and other church groups.
